Bowa Construction is provided general contracting services for Metra’s $3 million Hazel Crest Station renovation project. Located at Park Avenue and 170th Street, construction of the nearly 1,300 SF Station included a new street-level depot complete with vendor space and restrooms, as well as the replacement of the Station’s stairways. Additional scope of work included new electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment and systems; new site utilities, sidewalks and landscaping; and the addition of an elevator on the north end of the Station, which makes the Hazel Crest Station fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
